MP for Dohuk to Ashraf News: the Kurds do not like the MKO stay in Iraq

The member of the Council of Representatives for the province of Dohuk, Rinas Gano, said on Thursday, that the Kurdish people in Kurdistan do not favor the stay of the PMOI terrorist organization’s members in Iraq, adding that “the Kurds in a certain period were victims of the MEK organization which collaborated with Saddam Hussein.”

MP Rinas Gano told the reporter of Ashraf News, “The role of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran and its crimes in Iraq against all ethnic groups of Arabs, Kurds and Turkmen are no secret,” noting that “Iraq has kept the members of this terrorist organization on its territory because of a desire among European nations to embrace and resettle them. ”
The MP for the Dahuk province, blamed the United Nations for not resolving the stay of the Iranian organization’s members in Iraq, and also said “the United Nations bears a great responsibility on this issue because it was a signatory to the agreement of transferring the MEK organization’s members outside Iraq.”
The MP for the Kurdistan Alliance denied  that there is a desire among his bloc to support the stay of the MKO terrorist organization’s members in Iraq, adding, “We are with Iraq’s sovereignty over all its territory and the prevention of the stay of any terrorist group hostile to neighboring countries.”
